Sue is a 1993 graduate from the Culinary Institute of America. She was recruited by Marriott International for the Management/Culinary Training Program in New Orleans, LA, where for 10 years she honed skills in both front and back of the house; Chef-Manager of the Café du Monde casual dining restaurant; Specialty Restaurant - 41st floor Riverview Restaurant and as a Banquet Chef of the 2500 room Canal St. property.
She managed the Marriott team for three years as they participated in the Louisiana Gold Culinary Competition; collaborating with CIA instructors to teach Marriott associates cooking techniques and plate presentation.
As a member of the opening culinary team, Sue trained associates and created menus for hotels in Boulder, Colorado; Woodlands, Texas; JW Marriott Grande Lakes.
In 2004, Sue returned to Buffalo, NY, where continued her career with Wegmans Food Markets as a Cooking Coach teaching customers, employees, and management techniques. She was soon promoted to Sous Chef where she managed teams in all aspects of food preparation. Sue graduated from Buffalo State College in 2014 and in 2015 became the Campus House Kitchen Manager. She is an active community volunteer and Ua member of the Buffalo State Alumni Board.
