Cindi Thomason is a Senior Business Adviser with the Small Business Development Center at Buffalo State College. She has been with the Small Business Development Center for the past 20 years, during which time Thomason has worked with a vast array of clients, helping start businesses ranging from daycare centers to hotels, apparel stores, pet related businesses, automotive businesses, and almost any other type of business. However, her first love has always been restaurants and other businesses which involve food services and products.
Prior to beginning her career with the Small Business Development Center, Thomason worked in banking, as an accountant, and also owned her own restaurant for 10 years. Thomason has a B.S.B.A. from Western Carolina University, and holds a master’s degree in applied economics at Buffalo State College. She has an advanced certification in business advisement from the NYS Small Business Development Centers and is also a Certified Project Manager-UB School of Business Management.
